Portsmouth playmaker Niko Kranjcar insists he is happy to see out the remaining 18 months of his contract.
The Croatia international's deal expires in the summer of 2010 and while initial talks over an extension have been held, fresh discussions have been delayed until the end of the season.
The 24-year-old is happy to stay until his contract ends, however, he believes the club will be forced to cash in on his services in the off-season if he opts against signing new terms.
"We've had discussions about a new contract, but we've put them on hold until the summer," said Kranjcar.
"I've got my contract for another year-and-a-half and I'm happy to see it out. But if I don't sign another one, the club will probably try to sell me in the summer.
"If a top-four club or big clubs from Europe come in, of course I would like to go and play in the Champions League."
