Everton duo Leon Osman and Steven Pienaar could both return to action against West Brom after a long stint on the sidelines.
Both midfielders have been progressing in their rehabilitation and look set for a start at Goodison on Saturday against West Brom.
The news is a massive boost for boss David Moyes who will be without the influential Mikel Arteta and Victor Anichebe, both injured in Sunday's match against Newcastle.
Marouane Fellaini, who was came on against the Magpies despite not being quite ready, could also miss out after suffering some discomfort.
Everton head Physio Mick Rathbone told the club's official website: "Fellaini's fine. He's got this little rib fracture and he's got a little discomfort but he's a tough boy and he's okay.
"It wasn't ideal that he came on (against Newcastle) but it was fine and he was okay."
Rathbone confirmed that Dan Gosling, Louis Saha and Joseph Yobo will also be in contention for Saturday's tie after coming through the match against Newcastle unscathed.
"Dan (Gosling) came off hobbling but he's been in for a cool down and he's okay," he added.
"Louis has been in today and he's happy. Joe played for Nigeria and has been training for the last three or four weeks - he's fine.
"Leon (Osman) and Steven (Pienaar) have got a chance for the weekend. They're working very well and we're reasonably optimistic. They're both making good progress."
The Toffees physio also revealed that long-term absentees James Vaughan and Nuno Valente are on-course to return to action in March.
