Jonathan Greening still has faith in West Brom manager Tony Mowbray's football philosophy despite the club sitting bottom of the Premier League.
The Baggies look set to make an immediate return to the Championship with the club eight points adrift of safety.
West Brom have not won in eight league matches and have won just six times this season, with three of those victories coming in the club's first six games of the campaign.
But despite their perilous position the Baggies skipper reveals that the whole squad are totally behind the manager and even insists that the team has improved since the former Hibernian boss took over in October 2006.
"All the players and the staff love the gaffer," he said.
"He is a top guy and a top coach, and we all believe in the way he likes to play.
"I think it is definitely the right way to play in the Premier League and we get a lot of plaudits for the way we play.
"If we could stay up for the gaffer, it would be a great achievement because people have been saying all season we will get relegated playing this way.
"He got us into the Premier League in his first full season at the club and, since he has been here, the club has come on leaps and bounds."
