Rennes manager Pierre Dreossi has admitted he would be willing to part with midfielder Stephane Mbia this summer.
The Cameroon international has been the subject of much transfer talk of late, with a clutch of English clubs reportedly set to battle it out for his signature.
Everton came close to landing the African ace last summer, but ultimately failed in their efforts to lure him to the Premier League, while Newcastle expressed an interest during the January transfer window.
Blackburn and newly-promoted Birmingham are also believed to be keen, while Arsenal are still looking to add some steel to their midfield unit.
A switch to the Premier League now looks likely, but Dreossi has made it clear that he is not prepared to part with Mbia for less then he is worth.
"Mbia is the only player we are willing to let leave if we get a suitable offer, which is not the case so far," the Rennes chief told France Football.
While reiterating his intention to retain the services of his other key men during the off-season, Dreossi went on to dismiss reports suggesting France international Rod Fanni could be on his way to Marseille.
"He is not one of the players we want to sell," he added.
