Monaco striker undergoing medical ahead of loan move
Skysports.com understands Monaco striker Frederic Nimani is undergoing a medical at Burnley ahead of joining on loan.
Nimani has been a target for several Premier League clubs as he looks to secure regular first-team football in the second half of the season.
The France Under 21 international has been granted permission to move in January by Monaco and he close to sealing a switch to Burnley.
He is understood to be having a medical ahead of joining the Clarets on loan for the rest of the season with a view to a permanent deal.
If the powerful youngster, who has been likened to Emmanuel Adebayor, impresses at Turf Moor, Burnley will pay €4million (£3.5million) to keep him for the long term.
Nimani will become new Clarets manager Brian Laws' first signing since he replaced Owen Coyle at the helm last week.
