Midfielder Michael Carrick has heaped the praise on Manchester United's 40-year-old goalkeeper Edwin Van der Sar.
Evergreen Van der Sar is refusing to take his foot off the gas despite recently celebrating his landmark birthday.
And Carrick, 29, has told United's official website that Van der Sar's longevity is a 'great achievement'.
He said: "There are goalkeepers down the years who have played a lot later into their careers than outfield players.
"But to do it at this level and at this club is some going.
"And it doesn't seem like he's letting up any time soon."
It seems the Dutchman, who celebrated his 40th birthday on Friday, remains as hungry as ever to continue winning trophies at Old Trafford.
He said: "We want to get the Premier League title back, that's for sure. I think that's the priority.
"And of course we went out of Europe too early last season, so that has to be one of the focus points.
"When I was younger I thought maybe I would finish in my mid-30s, but that's a normal time to be thinking about it when you are younger and for players at this level.
"That would have been the obvious time to finish, but I only came to United late in my career and maybe that's why I'm enjoying it."
