Seasiders boss laments leaving Rachubka out of 25-man squad

Ian Holloway admits he made a mistake in leaving goalkeeper Paul Rachubka out of Blackpool's 25-man squad for the Premier League. Blackpool have lost No.1 keeper Matt Gilks for the next two months after he suffered a broken kneecap in last week's draw at West Ham United. Richard Kingson will deputise during Gilks' absence, but Holloway only has Mark Halstead as cover after the teenager was recalled from a loan spell at Barrow. Seasiders boss Holloway does have a third experienced keeper on his books in the shape of Rachubka, but he was left out of the 25-man squad at the start of the season. Rachubka had been sidelined by a knee problem, but is now fit again and Holloway concedes he may have erred in omitting the former Manchester United youngster. Holloway said: "In hindsight we got it wrong by not naming Paul in the squad."
