Wolves goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey has targeted Sunday's match against local rivals West Brom as a game they can build upon.
In what is sure to be a feisty Black Country derby, Wolves need a victory to give them the chance to climb out of the relegation zone should other results go their way over the weekend.
It is the first meeting between the two clubs in the top flight for 26 years at The Hawthorns, and Wolves will go into the game in positive mood after beating fellow Midlands rivals Birmingham 1-0 at Molineux.
The Baggies, meanwhile, lost their Midlands derby to Aston Villa, and Hennessey, who has been given the nod over Marcus Hahnemann in recent games, admitted that it was sure to be a tough fixture.
"Birmingham on Sunday was a good game and a big derby and this is even bigger. I know we'll get all sorts of stick at their place but that's part and parcel of football," he told the club's official website.
"The only way to respond is to try and get another clean sheet. Albion have brought some good players in and have got a good squad so we know we're in for a tough game.
"They lost against Villa so will be even more determined. But we want to build on what we did at the weekend as well."
