Interest from Spain and Italy as Wigan striker looks for loan move

Wigan striker Mauro Boselli is on the verge of a loan move to either Italy or Spain, the player's agent claims. The Argentine striker moved to the Latics from Estudiantes La Plata for an undisclosed fee last summer, but has failed to find his form. With just one goal, scored in a League Cup meeting with Swansea, in 11 appearances, the 25-year-old is believed to be keen on a loan move to regain his confidence. Bari and one other unnamed Italian club are keen on his services, while Spanish outfits have also been tracking the former Boca Juniors player. Boselli's agent, Jose Iribarren, plans a trip to Europe next week and he expects to wrap up a deal for his client within days of touching down. "There is interest from Bari," Iribarren told calciomercatoweb.it. "There is also another good club in Italy interested in Boselli but I cannot name them. "At the moment, there is a good chance that for the next six months Mauro will play in Italy or Spain, the idea is that of a loan. "I come to Europe next week and I think they will be the decisive days in knowing the future of Boselli."
