Swansea boss ready to hand trialist keeper Tremmel a deal

Swansea City manager Brendan Rodgers is contemplating whether to make another bid for Nottingham Forest goalkeeper Lee Camp. Rodgers has spent much of the summer trying to agree a deal for Camp and has already seen three bids knocked back by Forest. Skysports.com revealed last weekend that an offer of £1.8million had been turned down and Rodgers is now weighing up his next move. "We have made a few bids and we will see how that goes over the next couple of days," said Rodgers. "He is a player we like but he is a Nottingham Forest player." The Swans boss is keen to bring in two goalkeepers and he could offer Gerhard Tremmel a deal after he impressed in the 2-0 friendly win over Celtic on Wednesday night. He added: "Gerhard did well. He impressed me when he was with us in Austria and I liked his calmness and composure and, very importantly, his management of the game. "He has done very well and if I look at where we are at now, we have two signed keepers in Jose (Moreira) and David (Cornell), but to allow David to go out on loan I need to bring in two other keepers and Gerhard could possibly be one of those with another one to come in."
