Wolves boss Terry Connor says surviving previous relegation battles has given his players the belief to pull out of Premier League trouble.
The Molineux side have avoided the drop in each of their two seasons back in the top flight, despite being among the favourites to finish in the bottom three.
But four straight defeats have left Connor's men four points adrift of safety with just eight games remaining this term.
Wolves host fourth-bottom Bolton on Saturday in a match which could have a huge impact on the relegation fight and Connor remains confident his side will escape a return to the Championship.
He said: "Until someone tells me it is not possible to get enough points then we will keep believing.
"The players remain positive because they all believe they can stay up.
"That is what they've been doing for two or three seasons now - and successfully - so they are well versed in it.
"Since we've been in the Premier League we've had to work hard to survive."
Despite Wolves' perilous position, Connor has tried to play down the magnitude of the Molineux clash against Bolton, saying: "If we don't win it won't be all over.
"If we get a point you add it to your total and move onto the next game and try to get three out of that one.
"Everyone has been talking about a must-win game and getting off to a great start - but it will take 90 minutes to win the game."
