Arsenal sticking to their demands over captain

Sky Sports sources understand that none of the bids received by Arsenal for Robin van Persie have met the club's valuation. Sky Sports exclusively revealed on Tuesday evening that the Gunners had received a number of offers for their Dutch captain. Manchester United, Manchester City and Juventus are all bidding to land the 28-year-old, who has just a year left on his contract and has told Arsene Wenger's side he will not sign an extension. However, despite the offers that have been made, as yet nobody has come close to Arsenal's valuation, which Sky Sports understands is currently around £30million. The Emirates Stadium outfit will confirm on Friday that Van Persie will not be going on their tour of the Far East, as both the player and the club want his future resolving. But the Gunners are seemingly not prepared to sell him for what they perceive is less than his market value.
