The French midfielder has joined Los Verdiblancos from the Black Cats until the end of the current campaign and is relishing the prospect of the survival fight.
"If we win a game soon we regain confidence and stay in the first division," the 23-year-old said.
"Betis have 16 finals to play and the club's place is in the top flight."
N'Diaye joined Sunderland in the last January transfer window Bursapor and played 16 times for the Premier League side before being loaned to Turkish outfit Eskisehirspor in the summer.
Now he has gone back out on loan to continue to gain regular first-team experience and his time in Turkey has meant he is prepared for La Primera.
"Now I am fit and ready and have completed two games in January," he added.
"I am a midfielder but when I started out in France I was a centre-half and if I am needed there again I could fill in without problem."
