The 14-year-old is regarded as one of the most exciting talents in the country after impressing in City's youth sides and his progress has not gone unnoticed among other clubs.
Dele-Bashiru helped City's under 14's win the crowned National Premier League Champions for the second year in a row earlier this month, including scoring twice in the semi-final against Norwich.
Dele-Bashiru's rising stock has also seen a number of top sporting companies battle it out to secure him on a sponsorship deal.
City are determined to keep hold of the teenage wonderkid and are thought to be pulling out all the stops to fend off the growing interest in the youngster.
The player's father, Bandele Bashiru, admits there has been a lot of interest in his son and that they will make a decision on his future which best suits the development of the youngster.
"There has been a lot of interest shown in Tom and Manchester City have indicated they want to give him a new contract," Dele-Bashiru Snr told Sky Sports.
"We will sit down and see what City have to say as we want to give them first refusal.
"Tom is happy playing there, but we must decide where we feel Tom's long-term development and future would be best suited before making a decision on his contract.
