Sorensen has been at the Britannia Stadium since 2008 but he has not played regularly this term due to the form of No.1 goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, and his current deal expires in the summer.
He remains in the dark about his future but is not paying it too much thought at moment, although he is happy with his fitness at the age of 37.
"I'm focused on getting to the end of the season when my contract runs out," Sorensen told The Sentinel.
"I haven't put a lot of thought into it, so I will take it as it comes. We will see what the options are, but I haven't heard anything from Stoke.
"I just know I have got three or four months left.
"I feel great, so there's positives, but also you do look to be playing."
While he is frustrated not to be playing, Sorensen acknowledges that Begovic fully deserves to be in the side.
"He's been great," added Sorensen. "We have both fought for a place, and over the last year-and-a-half he's claimed it and done well.
"I just try to do what I can for the team and when he gets injured make sure I am ready.
"I would be lying if I said it hasn't been difficult because I want to play. There are days it's been tough.
"Luckily I've been very professional and that's helped me through some difficult weeks."
