The new Premier League season is just a couple of weeks away so skysports.com caught up with the Soccer Saturday pundits to get their predictions for the new campaign.

Who is the best signing so far? There are still some big transfers to go through, I'm sure, but I think Paulinho is a good signing for Spurs. He's what they needed and that was a good move by them. However, some of the most important signings are where clubs have convinced key players to stay. For instance, Christian Benteke handed in a transfer request and everyone thought he was going to go but Villa have managed to tie him down and that's a massive coup for them. Who is your player to watch? I always look towards the forwards, the likes of Stevan Jovetic and Alvaro Negredo at City. The Chelsea midfield as well, should be fascinating to watch. The three amigos, Oscar, Eden Hazard and Juan Mata will all get better this season and improve for last season's experiences. Then there's Dimitar Berbatov, a man after my own heart; he plays at his own pace and doesn't get rushed by those around him. He's good to watch. Which young player should we look out for? Luke Shaw at Southampton had a great debut season and signing him up on a long-term contract was great business. This will be his first full season in the first team and he will improve. Similarly the young lads at Aston Villa will have gained a lot from last season after avoiding relegation. Hopefully we'll see plenty of young talent - and plenty of young English talent - coming through. Wish for the season? My one wish for the season would be Gareth Bale stays at Spurs. I want to see the best players in the Premier League and he's certainly that. Hopefully we'll be able to watch him on Soccer Saturday all season.
