Jamie Vardy scored for a record-equalling 10th consecutive Premier League game to bolster his position at the top of Sky Sports' Fantasy Football overall player rankings.

The Leicester City striker matched Ruud van Nistelrooy's record set in 2003 as the Foxes took advantage of slips by Manchester City and Arsenal to move to the top of the table.

Fellow striker Harry Kane maintained his improved run of form with a brace against West Ham, while three Sunderland players made the Team of the Week after only their second win of the season at Crystal Palace.

Costel Pantilimon (£4.8m)

Pantilimon secured his second slot in the team of the week as Sunderland upset Crystal Palace on Monday Night Football. The towering goalkeeper produced just his second clean sheet of the campaign as the Black Cats moved level on points with Bournemouth.

Billy Jones (£4.6m)

The Black Cats full-back was one of three Sunderland players to make this week's team after their win at Selhurst Park. Jones supplied the through ball that inadvertently led to Jermain Defoe's winner.

Younes Kaboul (£5m)

Like team-mates Pantilimon and Jones, the former Tottenham defender made the TOTW for the second time this season after claiming the Sky Sports Man of the Match award in a backs-to-the-wall display.

Danny Simpson (£4m)

Simpson completes the backline, joining team-mate Vardy in the team of the week. The £4m-rated defender had a helping hand with the Foxes' second, securing 10 points for the week.

Memphis Depay (£7.9m)

With Wayne Rooney and Anthony Martial both ruled out, Memphis stepped into the breach for Louis van Gaal's side, scoring the opener in a 2-1 win for Manchester United at Watford. However, with only 35 points to his name the high-rated former PSV man is yet to capture the imagination of Fantasy bosses, figuring in only 10 per cent of teams.

Philippe Coutinho (£8.4m)

Coutinho inspired Liverpool to an impressive 4-1 victory at Manchester City - the title favourites' heaviest ever defeat at the Etihad. The Brazilian was on target for the fourth time in three matches and also picked up his third man-of-the-match award of the season.

Joshua King (£5.1m)

An early goal at the Liberty Stadium was capped with a man-of-the-match display as the Cherries' midfielder secured his first appearance in the team of the week.

Ross Barkley (£6.7m)

The England midfielder netted twice and provided an assist to bag 15 points as the Toffees romped to a 4-0 win against Villa that lifts Everton up to seventh spot in the top flight. At only £6.7m, Barkley is proving to be a popular signing with Fantasy managers and now figures in 17 per cent of teams.

Romelu Lukaku (£8.8m)

The Everton striker took his fantasy football points tally to 96 with a brace of goals against hapless Villa and now only trails Vardy and Riyad Mahrez in the leading points scorers. With Bournemouth next up for the Toffees,  the £8.8m-rated striker will fancy his chances of adding to his nine goals.

Harry Kane (£9.3m)

It may have been a slow start to the season but Kane is finally rewarding managers to have kept faith. The Spurs striker netted twice in the 4-1 win against West Ham to take his recent tally to seven in the last four top-flight outings. It was a performance that secured the England striker his second player of the week accolade with 17 points.

Jamie Vardy (£7.3m)

Vardy has now rattled up 118 points and is 18 points clear of team-mate Mahrez in the overall player rankings. However, despite his remarkable scoring run, the England striker, a snip at £7.3m, still only appears in 26 per cent of teams.
