Sweden's forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic kicks the ball

Zlatan Ibrahimovic is undergoing a medical ahead of his move to Manchester United, according to Sky sources.

The 34-year-old arrived at United's Carrington training complex on Friday afternoon and is understood to be going through his medical examination.

Ibrahimovic confirmed on Thursday he would be joining United this summer, positing a message on social media accompanied by a picture of the club's badge.

Zlatan is a huge star, but what will he add on the pitch?

It read: "Time to let the world know. My next destination is Manchester United. #iamcoming."

He is yet to sign a deal to join United, according to Sky sources, and must still pass his medical in order to become manager Jose Mourinho's second signing of the summer following the arrival of defender Eric Bailly from Villarreal.

All being well, the former Sweden captain will be reunited with Mourinho, who he worked with at Serie A club Inter Milan.
