All the latest Man Utd transfer news and rumours from across the British and European press on Sunday, July 9.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic could be handed a new deal by Manchester United when he recovers from injury, according to the Sunday Mirror.
The 35-year-old is currently going through rehabilitation at United's Carrington training complex, and could return to the club as a player in January if he fully recovers from his cruciate injury.
United's £60m target Radja Nainggolan is set to disappoint Jose Mourinho and stay at Roma.
Nainggolan has been heavily linked with United as well as various other clubs, including Chelsea and Inter Milan, but the chances of the 29-year-old Belgium international leaving Roma this summer now look to be over.
Roma director Monchi, quoted on asroma.com, said: "Yes (he will stay). I think we've seen the last of the big departures from our club.
"Now it's time to build a team, which will be supplemented with potential purchases in the transfer market."
Adnan Januzaj has been told he will not get a squad number next season as his Manchester United exit looms, with Real Sociedad interested in signing him, according to the Sunday Mirror.
Finally, Tottenham have told United they won't entertain any offers for £50m-rated Eric Dier, according to the Independent.
The Guardian had said on Saturday that Jose Mourinho is eyeing Dier after failing to land Chelsea's Nemanja Matic.
