Manchester United youngster Andreas Pereira is keen to avoid another loan move away from the club and is determined to work his way into Jose Mourinho's plans for the season.

Pereira was sent out to Granada to continue his development on a season-long loan last term, although he could not prevent the Andalusian club from dropping out of La Liga under Arsenal legend Tony Adams.

The highly-rated winger still managed to net five goals in 37 appearances for the club and Pereira is now targeting a regular first-team place with the Red Devils after returning to Old Trafford.

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho insists David de Gea is staying

Asked if he is was contemplating another loan, Pereira said: "No, now I am focused at United. I am here and I want to stay here and I believe I am going to stay."

Pereira has enjoyed pre-season under Mourinho, who successfully guided United to both the Europa League title and League Cup in his debut season at the club.

"He knows he is a good manager," Pereira said. "He knows how to do things, he knows how to speak with players he knows how to treat the team

"He always gets the results and always win trophies. I think if you want to be the best manager in the world, you have to win trophies and that's what he does.

"I was very happy (last season), I watched every game. The last game I even came to watch, the last Premier League game.

"I was very excited and, yeah, of course it is nice when United is winning back things and trophies. Hopefully we can kick on and win more trophies."
