English football's most-decorated clubs renew their rivalry live on Sky Sports this Saturday, and ahead of the eagerly-anticipated clash at Anfield, we're asking you to pick a team made up of players who have starred in the Premier League era for the two clubs.
Throughout the week we're giving you the chance to vote for your favourite goalkeeper, defenders, midfielders and strikers, before collating the results and revealing YOUR Premier League Liverpool-United XI on Friday - if you haven't cast your goalkeeper vote you can do so here.
Today, we turn our attention to the defence, with players including Jamie Carragher and Rio Ferdinand jostling for the centre-back berth, Gary Neville and Glen Johnson going head-to-head for the right-back spot, and Denis Irwin and Patrice Evra looking to get the nod ahead of John Arne Riise and Fabio Aurelio on the left.
