Graham could see the 21-year-old as a replacement for Darren Anderton, who looks likely to leave on a Bosman Ruling free transfer at the end of the season.
Celtic, Charlton and Portsmouth are also believed to be interested, but Graham looks to have stolen a march on the rest with a substantial offer for the England Under-21 international.
