The duo recently left for Middlesbrough in a bid to gain regular first-team football but Chadwick, who is behind England captain David Beckham in the pecking order, insists he is happy to bide his time and wait for an opportunity.
Red Devils boss Sir Alex Ferguson is a huge fan of Chadwick, and the Scot has thrust him into the team when he felt appropriate, and the winger is prepared to stay at Old Trafford for at least two more seasons before reassessing his prospects.
The England Under-21 international said: "Jonathan and Mark are two years older than me so I can afford time. The thing is that if you are given a chance there is always that carrot there for you and I have been given opportunities.
"I have had more chances than Mark and Jonathan, so they had to look elsewhere. I still think there are chances for young players at United.
"One day it may happen that I will have to take a serious look at how much progress I have made.
"Maybe in one or two seasons I will assess where my career is going but at the moment I am very happy."
