The Frenchman is fuming with his side after they crashed to a 4-2 defeat, and Wright is expected to be asked to rebuild his confidence with a run-out against United's second string in the virtually meaningless tie at Highbury.
"I believe Richard will need a lift," revealed Wenger. "When you concede four goals at home, your confidence can't be very high.
"Some of the players who played will be involved on Monday.
"Richard will be one of those."
It could be argued that Sir Alex Ferguson should follow suit and force some of his stars to play their second game in as many days, as punishment for a passionless showing at Liverpool.
The Merseysiders coasted to their fourth successive win over the champions, and Ferguson was understandably stunned by an apparent lack of commitment from his side, in what is traditionally a fiercely-contested encounter.
"There is no question that the aspect of our game that concerns me most is that opposing sides are showing a greater desire than us," he pointed out.
"Liverpool worked harder than we did. They were the better team and got what they deserved.
"We seem to be taking success for granted, and I'm not having that.
"I don't think the players will have enjoyed a result like that. We will see if they respond."
Andy Cole and Wes Brown both pulled out of the England squad for the game with Sweden at Old Trafford, although Ferguson insisted there were no injury worries concerning David Beckham, despite the skipper having an ice-pack on his knee after inexplicably being withdrawn at Anfield.
