The Manchester United midfield ace revealed his frustration at seeing Argentina breeze through qualifying campaigns, only to under-perform in major tournaments like the South American championship or last summer's World Cup finals.
"I am tired of winning the qualifying sessions. We are all tired," said Veron.
"The team has to perform in the important championships and it would be great to win the Copa America."
The former Lazio man is determined to see a change to the way Argentina approach important matches.
"We have to find the exact moment for putting pressure on our rivals, the way they do to us," Veron added.
"We have to learn how to handle that. The coach [Marcelo Bielsa] can give us an idea but we are the ones who have to change this while being on the pitch."
Bielsa believes that the changes in the Argentine squad are occurring and sees Veron as one player that is leading the way, in that regard.
"He is going to give new things to the team. He is going to change the face of how we play and what we want is to show good football," said Bielsa.
"There are many players that have many things for showing and we have already had the chance to see what they can do when they played against Honduras and the USA."
Veron is mindful that the introduction of younger players to the squad will put pressure on him to keep his place in the national side.
"I know exactly how this goes on and in the same way, I had the chance to play and another player had to stay out, now it could be my turn to stay out of the team," he said.
"I have to keep on doing well with my football in my team and I have as an objective to be in the World Cup in Germany 2006."
