The Argentine international was notably absent with a knee injury from the Red Devils' nightmare first leg defeat to the Spanish giants on Tuesday.
Real put on a master class in the Santiago Bernabeu to take a 3-1 advantage to the second leg at Old Trafford in a fortnight.
However, the 28-year-old playmaker believes United can make the final at their Old Trafford home next month and he hopes to be fit for the second leg on April 23.
"Real Madrid might think it is over but it's not," said Veron.
"I promise our fans that we'll still be in the final.
"The contest is not finished because every man in our squad knows the final is fixed at Old Trafford and we must be there at any cost.
"There is no doubt we can win 2-0 and put Real Madrid out of the tournament, even though they are the European champions and we will be without suspended Paul Scholes and Gary Neville."
Veron has been receiving treatment in Rome for his knee injury and added that he still thinks of his time at former club Lazio with great fondness.
"When I return to Rome, I always feel the great affection of the people in my interactions," he said.
"I love the city and the Biancoceleste [Lazio] team. It will always remain in my heart.
"I do not know if I cost too much for Lazio, but this is not the issue and I am not speaking about a possible return.
"At the moment I do not think about another team, apart from my phsyical condition, I am feeling good in Manchester.
"Any rumours suggesting I might leave, are wide of the mark."
