Claudio Ranieri took his spending to £95 million after clinching the signing of striker Hernan Crespo earlier this week, with the possibility of more new faces still to come.
Veron joined The Blues in a £15 million move during the summer and has been instrumental in the club's unbeaten start to the new season.
The Argentinian international has put in some impressive performances since his move from Old Trafford and is confident that the new-look team will be a success.
"There are very few clubs in the world like Manchester United, but I think Chelsea can also be as big, if not bigger than they are," stated the midfielder.
"The two teams are obviously very different, however Chelsea's activities in pre-season show they can also make it to the level United are at."
The former Lazio man failed to settle at Manchester United and is hoping the move to Stamford Bridge will give him the chance to prove his abilities and establish himself as a prominent player in the Chelsea revolution.
"I didn't have my flow at United," admits the 28-year old. "One of the problems could have been that I played out of position, but what I lacked was the continuity more than the actual position.
"It was unfortunate I could not show my all at Old Trafford but I don't regret anything and all I am doing now is looking forward to playing for Chelsea."
