Palace have been linked with a host of forwards as they seek to bolster their firepower for the forthcoming Premiership campaign.
Everton's Kevin Campbell and Leicester hit-man James Scowcroft are just a couple of names that have been mentioned, but Allback has now revealed he is wanted by The Eagles.
"My agent told me on Friday that there was interest from Palace, but that's all I know at the moment," the former Heerenveen star told Villa's official website.
However, the 30-year-old, who has struggled to establish himself at Villa Park since arriving two seasons ago, insists his future will not be resolved in the near future as he is currently on holiday.
"I am away in Sweden for the moment, so it is too early to talk about transfers."
It does seem that the Swede will follow Peter Crouch out of the exit door at Villa this summer, with boss David O'Leary reportedly lining up Chelsea's Carlton Cole as a replacement.
Meanwhile, Palace have been linked with swoops for Manchester United's midfield starlet Kieron Richardson and Southampton's Fitz Hall.
Any move for Richardson would be on a loan basis as the youngster is held in high esteem at Old Trafford.
Palace boss Iain Dowie worked with Hall during his time as Oldham manager and was highly-influential in the defender's progress at Boundary Park.
