Coventry City will keep Man Utd keeper Luke Steele until the end of the season.Coventry City have been given permission to keep Manchester United goalkeeper Luke Steele until the end of the season.
The rookie shot-stopper has been at Highfield Road since September and has largely impressed for the Championship club.
Steele has made 16 appearances for The Sky Blues and has established himself as Peter Reid's first choice.
Premiership giants United farmed Steele out to garner experience and they have happily extended the deal to the campaign's conclusion.
Reid admits he is grateful to his Red Devils counterpart Sir Alex Ferguson for sanctioning Steele's stay in the Midlands.
He said: "I had a word with Sir Alex and he's given me permission to keep Luke until the end of the season which is obviously terrific news."
