Santiago Solari has admitted receiving offers from Inter and Man United.
Real Madrid winger Santiago Solari has admitted Internazionale and Manchester United tabled offers for his services.
The Argentinian decided to remain in the Spanish capital after being offered a new deal on the last day of the transfer window.
He had seemed likely to at least wait until the summer before weighing up his options.
"I hope that both parties can be happy with this new agreement," he said after agreeing a four-year deal with Real worth around é¼3 million per season.
"I am very happy because I always wanted to stay at Real Madrid.
"I had offers from Inter and Manchester United that I was analysing but football happens this way, it changes all the time.
"There were many reasons for renewing my contract.
"First of all, the interest of the president, then the five years that I have already been here, and also the supporters who like me very much and give me all their support."
