Baggies loan-star Kieran Richardson wants to star for Manchester United.West Brom loan-star Kieran Richardson has urged Manchester United boss Sir Alex Ferguson to give him a chance when he returns to Old Trafford - insisting that he can become a regular.
Richardson has quickly won over Baggies fans with his pacey displays through midfield after joining the club on loan from United.
However, the England under-21 international wants to show that he can play for The Red Devils on a regular basis when he returns in the summer.
"When you hear the club have no money to spend it is good," he told The People. "It gives you more chance of being brought on.
"Manchester United are a great club and there will always be competition but I'm up for the challenge.
"When I go back I think I will have a far greater chance of establishing myself in the first team.
"I want to go back next season and be a regular, definitely.
"Sir Alex told me to get some experience at West Brom for next season. I'm playing well at the minute and I'm getting games under my belt.
"When I go back I will definitely be fighting for a place in the Manchester United first team.
"I've always had the speed. When you play regularly you get used to the tempo of the Premiership. Hopefully that will be good for when I go back.
"Manchester United put me on the left. I am enjoying myself at West Brom but I'm a Manchester United player and I want to do well when I go back.
"I'm a confident lad. Hopefully the gaffer will see my progress and play me regularly."
