Crystal Palace's Andy Johnson is the luckiest scorer in the Premiership.Crystal Palace's Andrew Johnson has scored in more Premiership games this season than any other player. The England international has scored in 17 of his 34 league appearances this term, one more than the league's leading scorer Thierry Henry.
In the 16 league games that Henry has scored this campaign, The Gunners have not been beaten. This record stretches back to May 2003, when the French striker's goal was insufficient to prevent Leeds United claiming a 3-2 victory at Highbury.
The three teams currently at the summit of the Premiership all have a 'lucky' goalscorer this season. When Frank Lampard, Jose Antonio Reyes or Wayne Rooney have scored for their respective employers this campaign, they have ended the day three league points better off.
At the other extreme, Newcastle's Darren Ambrose and Portsmouth's Gary O'Neil have scored twice for their clubs this season and ended up on the losing side on each occasion.
