Lyn director Morgan Anderson is confident the John Obi Mikel saga will be resolved.Lyn director Morgan Anderson is hopeful that midfielder John Obi Mikel will return to the Oslo club after the Fifa Youth World Championships in Holland.
The director insists that his relation with the 18-year-old is good and believes it is agent John Shittu who is behind Mikel's latest statements.
Mikel's proposed transfer to Manchester United, amidst interest from Chelsea, has been documented but Anderson is hopeful that a solution will be found.
"I both hope and believe that Mikel will play for us again after the youth World Cup is over," Andersen told VG.
"I regard our relation as very good. He was very grateful that we let him choose which club he would play for in the future.
"That I got the Manchester United jersey for him and his signature, I take that as a sign of that.
"I don't believe either FC Lyn Oslo or Manchester United will destroy his career."
