Lyn are furious at the latest allegations by John Obi Mikel's legal team.
Lyn are furious at allegations that their contract with John Obi Mikel was falsified.
The Oslo outfit claim it is a deliberate attempt to drive a wedge between the Norwegian side and United, who thought they had signed the midfielder back in April.
Mikel insists he wants to join Chelsea instead, even though the route to the first team looks considerably easier at United - particularly in the wake of Roy Keane's departure from Old Trafford.
Lawyer Stephen Tregear has accused Lyn director Morgan Andersen of fabricating the contract signed with the Norwegians last April.
It refers to the professional contract with Lyn rather than the deal signed with United, but that will be null and void if the initial paperwork was false.
"There can't be any doubts, based on the analysis of the documents, that the April contract has been falsified," said Tregear.
Andersen is fuming at the allegation as he would rather see the youngster head to Old Trafford.
"We take this shocking accusation seriously," he told VG. "We are not scared.
"This is an attempt to split Manchester United and us.
"They will not succeed with that."
Fifa are continuing to investigate the matter as the 18-year-old waits for some kind of green light to make a move to Chelsea in 2006.
