Lyn are sticking to their stance that Manchester United do still have a chance of signing John Obi-Mikel.
The Oslo outfit struck a deal with The Red Devils but English newspaper reports suggest the Old Trafford club have little option but to move him on immediately to Chelsea for a substantial fee.
Mikel has made it plain he prefers Chelsea to United and, despite Sir Alex Ferguson's affection for the midfielder, a transfer to Stamford Bridge would appear the most logical conclusion, even though it seems rather unfair on United.
"I am in touch with United every day and we are co-operating on what will happen," said Lyn director Morgan Andersen to VG.
"Our focus is the always the same since the 29th of April last year."
The 18-year-old signed for United last year but then claimed he was pressured into putting pen-to-paper with the club, instead preferring a more lucrative switch to the champions.
