Eagles is spending the second half of the season on loan at Vicarage Road from Manchester United - his second such stint with The Hornets.
After playing for Sheffield Wednesday during the first half of the campaign, Eagles has relished being back at Watford.
He proved his worth to the club with a stunning goal to beat Brighton on Saturday and is a key figure in Adrian Boothroyd's plans.
With the 20-year-old yet to play for The Red Devils in The Premiership, Eagles acknowledges he may have a tough choice, if Watford join his parent club in the top flight.
"I'm simply concentrating on Watford at the moment," said Eagles.
"Loyalty would be stretched if we were promoted, but I'm not thinking too far ahead."
Against Brighton, Eagles scored from almost the halfway line and the youngster expanded on his memorable goal.
He added: "I didn't have enough time to think about it, but I could see that the keeper had come out and I hit the ball so sweetly from distance.
"On another occasion it could have gone wide. I've been reminded that David Beckham once scored a goal for Manchester United from a long way out against Wimbledon, but that was not in my thoughts.
"I just hit it and I knew instantly it was going to go in. Hopefully, Sir Alex Ferguson will be impressed if he sees the video."
