Milan goalkeeper Dida is in no doubt as to who came out on top in the 'duel' between Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaka.
Much of the hype surrounding the first leg of Manchester United's UEFA Champions League semi-final first leg focused on the two players, with both proclaimed as world class performers.
Kaka scored twice and Ronaldo once but it was not just the Brazilian's goals that convinced Dida he had upstaged his rival.
"The duel between Kaka and Cristiano Ronaldo did not exist in the end," Dida told the Sun.
"Kaka won it clearly - not only by two goals to one but by his work on the field.
"Ronaldo was just not that great. I believe the nerves and the responsibility proved too much for him."
Milan defender Massimo Oddo was similarly underwhelmed by the performance of Ronaldo, but talked in glowing terms of the threat of the Portuguese's team-mate Wayne Rooney.
"Ahead of the first leg, everybody was talking about Ronaldo, but Rooney worried me much more," Oddo told the Daily Mirror.
"Obviously Ronaldo is a fantastic player as well as with his tricks and his ball control at high speed. The secret is to attack him before he attacks you.
"But Rooney is a very special player and we must try and counter his threat."
