Manchester United youngster Fraizer Campbell has agreed to stay on loan at Hull City until the end of the season.
The striker has made a big impact since moving to the KC Stadium in October, scoring six goals in 14 appearances.
Tigers boss Phil Brown was anxious to retain Campbell, with the player now accepting a loan extension.
Chairman Paul Duffen told the Hull Daily Mail: "It's great news for the club that Fraizer has decided to stay this season."
Campbell's decision to stay on at Hull could lead to Stephen McPhee finalising a move to Blackpool, with the two clubs having agreed a fee.
Meanwhile, Brown has revealed that he is prepared to sell Stuart Elliott in the transfer window, if a suitable offer comes in.
Brown said: "I've had a lot of interest for Stuey, but if it was just a loan between now and the end of the season, that would not make sense for us.
"If there was a financial offer on the table, which there's not at this stage, I would consider it.
"I've had that conversation with Stuey this week, but I've spoken to a number of players about their futures, it's up to me to keep a happy camp."
