Hull boss expects striker to stay at Man Utd

Phil Brown has admitted he is not confident of bringing Manchester United striker Fraizer Campbell back to Hull. Campbell scored 15 goals during a loan spell for the Tigers last season to help fire them to promotion from the Championship. Brown is eager to re-sign the 20-year-old, either on a permanent basis or a 12-month loan deal. He stated earlier in July that he was hopeful of securing Campbell ahead of Hull's Premier League campaign, but he has yet to hear from Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson. Campbell has featured for United in their pre-season friendlies and Brown now expects him to stay at Old Trafford. "Sir Alex has his business to do and until he conducts that I'm presuming Fraizer will be a United player this season," Brown said in the Daily Express. "We'll have to wait and see."
