David Silva has no regrets shunning a move to the Premier League by agreeing a contract extension with Valencia.
Manchester United had a bid rejected for the Spain international last week while Liverpool and Arsenal were also reportedly tracking the ace.
However, the 22-year-old, who is now tied to Los Che until the summer of 2013, believes happiness comes first and foremost.
"I'm very happy here. The people treat me very well. My first option was to continue with Valencia," said Silva.
"For me family comes first. They have always helped me with everything. It is important that they are very well, like me."
