Knill to make Johnstone decision

Scunthorpe manager Alan Knill will this week decide whether to extend Sam Johnstone's loan spell from Manchester United.

The 18-year-old goalkeeper has missed the Iron's last three matches with a dislocated finger. Knill has a few other injury worries ahead of Saturday's trip to Bournemouth with Eddie Nolan, Garry Thompson and strike duo Bobby Grant and Chris Dagnall missing training on Monday and Tuesday. "The two strikers got a couple of kicks while Eddie is still feeling his calf a little bit," Knill told the club's official website. "Thommo landed awkwardly and his neck is sore, but hopefully they are going to be okay. "We will just have to wait and see though."
