Rio Ferdinand is confident Manchester United will bounce back from their UEFA Champions League nightmare, starting this weekend against Wolves.
United were dumped out of Europe's premier club competition on Wednesday night after going down to a shock 2-1 defeat to Basel.
It is the first time since 2005 that United have failed to progress through the group stages and they have come in for heavy criticism for their shock early exit.
Ferdinand is convinced United can handle the flak coming their way and he has backed Sir Alex Ferguson's men to turn things around.
"We are definitely good enough to bounce back," said Ferdinand.
"It is only a couple of weeks ago people were saying we were going to be champions and we were going to do this and that. It doesn't change after one night in Europe.
"We have a lot of players here with valuable experience. That will come into play now.
"I have no worries or qualms about this weekend coming. We will be up for it."
Ferdinand has denied suggestions that United were complacent against Basel as they went into the game in Switzerland requiring only a point to progress.
"There was no complacency," added Ferdinand. "That is way off the mark.
"The manager wouldn't stand for complacency at this club.
"But it is embarrassing to go out at this stage and any player with pride in his performance and in his job doesn't want to feel that.
"We don't like this. We will try and rectify it."
