Northern Ireland international Evans was an injury concern after being helped off the pitch at the end of United's 3-2 Premier League defeat by Tottenham.
Afterwards Sir Alex Ferguson claimed Evans was only suffering from a dead leg, but it was still a concern for United with several defenders already out injured.
But it does appear he will be available for Tuesday's trip to Romanian champions Cluj, while fellow centre-half Rio Ferdinand also trained.
Winger Antonio Valencia, who missed Saturday's game with an ankle injury, was missing from the open portion of training, along with midfielder Michael Carrick.
Youngsters Scott Wootton and Michael Keane trained with the first team, with Wootton looking likely to travel after he was added to United's Champions League squad ahead of the tie.
United know they will have one foot into the knockout stages if they can return to England with maximum points after both sides won their opening games.
Ferguson is desperate for a smooth passage into the last 16 following last season's humiliating exit at the group phase.
