Sir Alex Ferguson has called on Manchester United strike trio Wayne Rooney, Robin van Persie and Javier Hernandez to bag 25 goals apiece this season to lift their Premier League title bid.

Ferguson has recently fended off questions regarding any potential retirement plans but United legend Sir Bobby Charlton expects the long-serving boss to stay on beyond the end of the season, particularly if his side lift the title. Charlton told the Daily Mirror: "Alex won't walk away if he wins the title this season, I don't think he has any plans to do that at all."
