Albion won 2-1 at Old Trafford in September when Steve Clarke was in charge and United manager David Moyes does not want to lose to the Baggies again.
Moyes will be in the rare position of facing an opposition manager whose future is under the spotlight more than his own, as Clarke's replacment Pepe Mel has failed to win during his six games in charge of the Baggies.
"Everyone keeps talking about the manager not winning for six games but West Brom won at Old Trafford this season and we need to try and avenge that and pick up the three points down there," said Moyes.
Moyes brushed off suggestions that Mel could be axed if the relegation-threatened Baggies lose.
"I'd be very surprised if Pepe Mel is under pressure at this moment," he said.
"I wouldn't think for one minute that after six games they were thinking about bringing in a new manager."
United have not played since their 2-0 Champions League defeat at Olympiakos but Moyes insists that result has not had a lingering effect on his squad.
"It was a disappointing night in Olympiakos," said the Scot.
"None of us thought we would perform so poorly but since then, we have picked ourselves up. We have had to recover and get ready for the next one."
