The online bookmaker expect the Dutchman to be given more time than David Moyes, offering odds of 3/1 that he will not be in charge at the end of next season.
United are currently fourth favourites at 11/2 to win the Premier League next season and odds-on to be back in the UEFA Champions League with a top-four finish.
They are currently favourites to sign Southampton defender Luke Shaw, Bayern Munich's Toni Kroos, Barcelona's Cesc Fabregas and Everton's Seamus Coleman this summer.
Paul Wiggins, Sky Bet's head of football, said: "We've cut United's title odds next season from as long as 7/1 during the end of Moyes' reign to 11/2 when it became clear that Van Gaal would be appointed, with the Dutchman odds-on for the post since shortly after we opened the market.
"Given Van Gaal's impressive CV, we'd have probably only shortened United's outright odds further if Jose Mourinho or Pep Guardiola had been appointed."
