The Jersey born left back is aiming at May 20 to mark his return from a five-month absence with an ankle injury.
The 31-year-old is currently at the FA`s rehabilitation centre at Lilleshall and he revealed his desire when he said: "The FA Cup final has given me a fresh target.
"If I`m to make the England squad I must play again for Chelsea this season and I think I can do it."
Le Saux (pictured), even if fit, may find it difficult to gain a place in The Blues` starting 11 as, during his prolonged absence, Celestine Babayaro has made the berth his own and young prospect Jon Harley has emerged as an able deputy.
