DACOURT IN INTER LINK

OLIVIER DACOURT has been linked with a move to Internazionale according to reports in France, despite Leeds United continuing to progress in the Champions League.

Having spent less than a season at Elland Road it would seem unlikely that the French star would leave so quickly, although the Serie A side need major restructuring and are likely to be persuasive.

The former Strasbourg, Lens and Everton player has impressed in his return to the Premiership, proving effective in the holding role whilst his prowess from set-pieces has seen him score some vital goals.

It would appear that with rumours of Robbie Keane making a return to England, Dacourt has been caught up in the talk.

Keane is subject of a £12 million battle between Chelsea and Leeds with Liverpool also appearing on the fringes of the discussion.

Another reason behind the link would be the French colony at Inter which currently includes Laurent Blanc, Sebastian Frey and Benoit Cauet who are currently resident at the Guiseppe Meazza.

Meanwhile, Australian striker Mark Viduka has praised the comeback of fellow countryman Harry Kewell.

Viduka said: "Harry gives us an extra dimension.  He's not fully fit but his class is still there.  It means the other side can't afford to push on down his flank because they're scared of him.

"He's such a threat every time he gets the ball.  The thought of playing with him every week played a part in me coming here, because we've done well together for Australia, and we showed how we combine for my goal.

"With Harry back to play with Alan and myself we feel we can be the best attack in the country."
