Agnelli suggested that Roma had already reached an agreement to sign the Dutch midfielder for next season.
Davids's future is up in the air as he has so far turned down a new deal at the Stadio Delle Alpi and it appears he will leave next summer on a free transfer.
Roma have held a long-term interest in Davids and are keen on signing him, but Baldini insists no deal has been done.
"We have still appreciated Davids, and particularly he's appreciated a lot by our coach, but I can assure you that at present there is nothing else. Also because it wouldn't be possible," said Baldini.
Baldini revealed that he felt Juventus had made the declaration to disguise their failure to keep Davids at the club and hinted that the Dutch powerhouse could join moneybags Chelsea.
"I think that Juve's declarations are made not to have the responsibility to the fact they are not able to reach an agreement with Davids," added Baldini.
"Probably there isn't any feeling, probably for different reasons they don't want to continue the relationship with him, but considering him already in Rome is a way to blame Roma for unsettling him.
