Adrian Mutu's future will not be resolved until closer to the transfer window in January.Adrian Mutu's future will not be resolved until closer to the transfer window opening in January.
In an excusive interview with skysports.com, Andrea Pretti has confirmed that nothing will be decided at the moment, as many things could happen between now and the end of the year.
Mutu has openly defied Chelsea coach Jose Mourinho, who did want the striker to play for Romania - claiming he was not fully recovered from a recent injury.
However, the former Parma star insists he is fit to play for his country this weekend.
Speculation has now intensified over Mutu's future with Juventus, Atletico Madrid and Shakthar Donetsk all linked in recent days.
"I've just spoken with Adrian and I can say that his declarations haven't unveiled anything new," said Pretti.
"The other things are sensationalised.
"We are living in moment where there is the habit of making important market operations at the last moment of the last day.
"So you are asking me, considering we are in October, of the possibility of a transfer in January. It's impossible to say.
"From now to January many things can change: Marcelo Zalayeta (one of Juve's reserve strikers) could be the top scorer and Adrian could have played 15 matches.
"Mutu made his outcry because in this period there is no other big news, but his one is a declaration that doesn't unveil any new things.
"From our side, that's to say the player, me and Becali's sons [the other agents of the player], we have never considered his future.
"We are really far from the window re-opening and I repeat at the moment there aren't thoughts to consider his future options."
